Live from Track and Field

We are live from the track and field Staduim which is also were the Opening Ceremony's were also held.  They are doing the athletics  which  includes,  javelin, discus, shot put, long jump, and a lot of running events. The atmosphere is amazing. Everybody is cheering for their country. So far we have watch 3 heats of men 1500, 7 heats of women's 100's, 2 heats of women's 200, men's long jump, shot put, and discus. It's really cool how this stadium Can transform from a spectacular stage to a full Track and feild arena.with one more event to go we are having a blast at the 2012 Olympic games.

                                                         GO USA!!

  2. Hi Sarah Alice and Janie,
It was great to read another post. I just watched some men's volleyball on T.V. The U.S. lost a set to Russia, but it is incredible to see how powerful the players are. And then I saw the end of the men's 10,000 meter run. Were you in the stadium to see that? Mo Farah from Britain won and it was so exciting to see how happy he was! He ran to pick up his daughter and give her a huge hug! Prince Charles and Princess Kate were wildly cheering in the stands. It would be easy to do nothing else but watch T.V. during these Olympics. There are so many wonderful stories told about the athletes. Love to you and keep on enjoying every second you have there!
